Eurovision 2008 Serbia Jelena Tomasevic Oro

OK, another Eurovision song, It's not the popular thing on the blog, but take a minute to listen.
this is a number that gave me goosebumps from the first minute . It's a very beautiful song, and I think it could win the eurovision song contest . She also recorded the song in Portuguese, Spanish & Greek so far. my favourite version is the Spanish one. It has such a melancholic feeling

Eurovision Song Contest 2008 Russia - Dima Bilan with Believing

OK, Let's continue with the Eurovision song contest artists. Today Dima Bilan, a singer who also was in the 2006 eurovision song contest and became 2ND there. ( the winners where Lordi). After those 2 years I still see the woman coming out of the piano.

His new entry is Called Believing, and was written by Timbaland (yes it seems like he's all around these day's ). The song isn't that bad, but isn't that good either . We'll see what it brings, but I think it will qualify for the final night. More info & "Hot" pictures can be found on his official web site Дима Билан :: Dima Bilan Official Site — Дима Билан Официальный сайт-

Here is the video for Never let you go ( his 2006 entry)

And here the video for Believing

Eurovision Song Contest 2008 Sweden : Charlotte Perrelli with Hero

Nine years After she won the Eurovision song contest with Take me to your Heaven, She's back with a beautiful radio friendly pop song Hero, I think Sweden will definitely qualify for the final night
The Hero Live Performance ( there's not yet a videoclip)

And her 1999 winning song Take me to your heaven

Eurovision 2008

It's almost Eurovision time again. All country's have all ready their representatives for the big night. A few changes in the competition. the winner & the big 4 country's Spain, U.K. , Germany & France are they only ones sure for a ticket on the final night , the other country's have to compete in 2 semi finals . In my opinion it should only be the winner & all the other country's even the big 4 should be in the semi's . Because the big 4 & the last years , always ended up in the last part.
Here In Belgium we had 4 Sunday's of pre selections, 2 semi & then the big finale. I still wonder why , because it was very obvious that VRT wanted the group Ishtar ( surprise they won) . I don't like the song that will represent Belgium. They all say it's original , but they forgot the imaginary language of the beautiful Sanomi. But then if Ireland can send in a Turkey, so can we send in a hyperactive chicken;
Anyway , here are the 5 songs that where in the final from Belgium.

the first video is Brahim with What I like about you

the second video paranoiacs with Shout it out

the third video Nelson with When I can't find love

The fourth video Ishtar with O julissi na jalini ( the song that represent Belgium)

And the 5th song - Sandrine with i feel the Same way ( my personal favourite)

Tell me did Belgium make the right choice ? and what is your favourite song ?
